Somerset is a planned community situated on over 200 acres in Union County, NC. This is one of the most affordable neighborhoods zoned for the highly rated Marvin Ridge school district. Homes in this community were built from 1998-2003 by several different builders, some of which are: Ryland Homes, DR Horton, Fortis, and St. Lawrence Homes. There are 475 homes, ranging from about 1900 square feet to over 4000 square feet and most of them are two stories. On average, the lot size is about 0.29 acre, with the largest lots measuring up at over 0.5 acre.
Somerset has incredible amenities to offer its residents. There's a clubhouse, magnificent outdoor pool (with six 25 meter lanes), playground, sports field, walking trails, and tennis courts and the HOA fees are currently $675 annually (as of 11/1/2022).
